Market Place Shopping Center supports Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County

Market Place Shopping Center has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of national partnership between General Growth Properties, (Market Place Shopping Center's owner/management company) and Habitat for Humanity International. Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County. Market Place Shopping Center Proudly Donates to Champaign Co. ReStore

Market Place Shopping Center is proud to donate to Champaign Co. ReStore to benefit our local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. When possible, construction materials are diverted from the landfill and donated for sale. Funds raised are used to build homes and help eliminate poverty housing in our communities. This program is a part of a national partnership between Habitat for Humanity and General Growth Properties.

AMBER Alert Notifications Uniting America to Protect All Children

The first few hours are the most important when it comes to finding missing children. When there is an active AMBER Alert in the community, signage will be placed in the mall in high traffic locations. Thousands of shoppers will have access to the information, giving tremendous advantage to law enforcement working against the clock to reunite these children with their families.
